Join our Community Steering Group

The Postal Museum is creating a Community Steering Group made up of people from Camden and Islington.

Could you help us understand the ways we can be useful and meaningful to local communities?

What will you do?

Act as ambassadors for The Postal Museum, spreading the word and connecting us to your local Camden and Islington communities.
Attend 6 meetings a year at the museum, where you will share your ideas, represent the views of your communities and help make decisions about the museum offer.
Help to organise community consultations, collaborations and events.
Help to create and promote consultation activities, working alongside museum staff and artists.

Who can Join?

We are looking for local residents living or working in Camden and Islington, with close ties to their community.

You can be any age (18+), and do not need any specific experience, education or training to take part. All we ask is a willingness to speak to local people and represent their views at steering group meetings.

What will you get from taking part?

• Travel and participation expenses will be covered
• The opportunity to share your opinions on community consultation and the community programme
